BrookLyn’s Journey

20 Mar

My editor sent me the first few pages today for me to review, and I have been ready to scream, yell and shout. Instead I stayed focused at work completing all of the paperwork that had been dumped on me. Inside though, my mind has been thinking about my book. All I can think about is BrookLyn coming to life.

I am so excited to share it with teens and adolescents hoping that I can help them get through challenging times in their lives. I survived my teenage years, which were confusing and somewhat lonely at times, while trying to figure out what my life was going to be like as an adult.

So many kids give up when they feel isolated and confused by sexuality issues. I want that to change and hope that BrookLyn’s Journey will be helpful to readers going through what she had to deal with. Life is so much more than high school that is why it goes on beyond the twelfth grade.
