E is for envy…

05 Apr

Envy is a cousin to jealousy. They both are dangerous. People get lost and hung up on the things that others have. When this happens they become distracted by what truly matters in life. They focus instead on things instead of people. A full bank account means less when you don’t have people to spend your life with.

Facebook has become a place where people brag about what they have. It’s a place that I sometimes take a vacation from especially when people I know personally create fake personas. Bottom line… we are all afforded opportunities for success and can acquire things we want in life without envying what others have. Emulate them instead. That’s healthier and the real you is much better than a copy of someone else.

facebook is where adults act like kids again, “Hey, look at me! Look what i did!” its fun once in a while. most of my close friends dont have time for it, like me!

and you defined envy & jealosy perfectly! envy is of things, jealosy is of people – never thought about the difference before!

    happy e day!

I agree! LOL! I try to think before I add my posts but sometimes I give in. I just don’t do it all day everyday. I’ve been to the movies before. Why do people think its a big deal when they go?! LMAO! Be good!
