O is for obstacles…

17 Apr

Each and everyday there are obstacles tossed our way. Roadblocks appear when we least expect them. It’s just like when you’re speeding down the highway and you end up getting stuck in traffic. You either wait it out patiently or sit frustrated banging on the steering wheel. Growing up in NY and driving on the NJ Turnpike and Parkway regularly to work, I was the one banging on the steering wheel and maybe even cussing. Okay, I was absolutely cussing! LOL!

Eventually I realized that no matter how much cussing and screaming I did the cars in front of me weren’t going away. In life, obstacles appear just as sudden. We have to make the choice to either rant and rave or inhale and go around the obstacle. Nothing good comes by taking the easy way out. Each obstacle has a lesson attached to it. We just have to fight hard to remember that…
